From a fan kind recollection we know that there were two or three warm up bands and that they were Buzzy Linhart, It's a Beautiful Day, and Estes(?).
From the stage banter Vinnie Lopez appeared to be intoxicated.
Odd occurence - A rainbow overhead during the show with no sign of rain ( Approval from on high?), actually it was partly cloudy all afternoon. Maybe 50 people attended the show, late afternoon. Many thanks to Paul
ONE afternoon outdoor show, with Springsteen headlining. Although primarily intended as a social event for students returning from summer vacation, this was a free concert that was open to the general public and sponsored by the University’s Penn Program Council. Held on the lawn of the “Flagstaff Hill” section of Schenley Park, next to the Botanical Gardens.
