DUMMY DATE. The CD and LP versions of the show are all cut and re-arranged to some extent. Some sources place this show in February and some songs may come from 1972. Someone places this show in March. Funky Broadway also reported in some sources, but it's an alternate title for "Soul Freakout" (or viceversa, of course)

Notes:
One show with STEEL MILL the sole act on the bill. The first of two performances at this venue during this early 1970 California trip. Owner Bill Graham had apparently seen one of Steel Mill's performances at The Matrix and subsequently contacted the group, hiring them as a last-minute substitute for another act that cancelled. This performance led to another gig at Fillmore West the following week, a studio demo session and, lastly, a $1,000 signing offer from Graham that the group declined.

Notes:
Brucebase: "Tuesday and Wednesday slots at Fillmore West were reserved for "no name" or "no record contract" artists - the beautiful Fillmore West Posters and handbills were never created for acts appearing on these two nights. This explains why Steel Mill Posters for the two Fillmore West gigs have never surfaced."

Notes:
Brucebase: "The group's final gig before leaving California to return to the Virginia. It is possible this gig took place on the 20th or 21st, although Vinnie Roslin has implied that this gig took place after the studio demo session on the 22nd"

Notes:
See 28-Feb-1970 For a very likely setlist. One show, , with STEEL MILL the sole act on the bill. The band drove non-stop from California to Richmond to make it on time. In a 1979 interview in "Thunder Road" Vinnie Lopez commented…."we had to get back to Richmond in 3 days to do a gig. We made it. That was a delirious show. I drove most of the way back, me and Tinker".

Notes:
One show, held indoors at "The Center", with STEEL MILL the sole act on the bill. The above-mentioned tracks are from a setlist document, there is no known audio of this setlist. According to Vinnie Roslin this was his final gig as a member of STEEL MILL. Roslin was fired and replaced soon afterward by Steve Van Zandt. This setlist has been longly debated, as this may be from the night before.
